Last Minute Adult Halloween Costume Idea...

I was setting here yesterday reminiscing about all the fun I have had at past Halloween parties and of course it was all about the costumes that first came to mind. I had some really good laughs because it was one costume in particular that really brought back a powerful memory and got me laughing. So, I couldn't resist sharing this one with you.... hope you don't mind sister. I told this one on you.

If you get invited to a party at the last minute, and you're at a lose for a quick costumes idea...here's one that you can throw together quickly and your cosutme will be the hit of the party.

Talk about unique....you will be the unique costume over all the rented or store bought ones and you will smile with pride because everyone will love it!!! You will quickly discover no one can resist you at the party.

You will be a lasting memory packed full of laughs in years to come...it will be you remembered. More importantly, you will have so much fun, the evening will grow with laughter as the night progresses. I've seen it first hand :).

Here it is....go as a "Rubber" Tree. I mean a true "Rubber" tree???. Run out to your nearest Walmart or Target and get your supplies. You will need an inexpensive set of long john underwear in green or brown for the tree body. You could even probably find cothing workable at a resale shop too. Just buy something to make your body a tree trunk color. (If you feel more comfortable, buy a pair of shorts to wear over the clothing that coordinates in color.)

Then....buy a couple sheets of green poster board paper to make leaves out of. Buy about a dozen cheap clear"Rubber" condoms, and a package of safety pin. Oh...you will need a brown marker too to outline your leaves. But let me tell you....the more condom leaves the more laughter.

(A cheap alternative to buying expensive condoms at Walmart or Target...go to a local convenience store or truck stop bathroom and buy every condom for a quarter they have in their little machine). Just another laugh to start the party before the party!

Go home and get to work. Draw leaves about 6" to 8" in size onto the poster paper. Out line the leaves and draw the veins too with your marker so they appear like real leaves. Then, cut them out. The number of rubber leaves is up to you.

When you are ready to dress for the party, tree up in your brown or green tree trunk clothing. Then, get the condom's and safety pins open and ready. You are about to become true "Rubber Tree".

Hold the condom in the middle of the leave and then pin (on the inside) the condom leaves all over you from the waist up. Then, watch as you turn into living, breathing "Rubber" tree.

If you really want to complete the costume, add a large leaf ornament into your hair. Cut out your leaf then pierce a small hole into the leaf and thread the condom through it. Then, slightly cut the top of the condom you threaded through the leave into two parts. Finally, tie the leaf into our hair. A great and final addition to your costume. You are now Rubber tree from head to toe.

Now, go have a Halllllllarious and Fun Party. Be on the look out for all the looks and laughter as your co-party goers see you enter the room with condoms dangling from you. You will have a great Rubber Tree time I promise.
